Soft & Chewy Easter M&M Cookies πŸ’—

Hey guys!

Because of our upcoming vacation, we won’t be doing too many Easter activities before the actual holiday…but that didn’t stop me from making some delicious Easter cookies 😊

These cookies are moist and chewy (even after a few days), and my favorite part is that you can make them whatever size you want- I did a few trials to see what size was best, and they were all delicious! I think Steven liked the monster size cookies the best though!! πŸ˜‚


  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1.5 sticks butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Easter M&Ms (plus extra for topping)


Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

  1. In one bowl combine the flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. In another bowl combine the melted butter, both sugars, egg, and vanilla. 
  3. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Add M&Ms
  4. Form the dough into balls, & place them a few inches apart on a nonstick cookie sheet. Place a few M&Ms on the tops (I like it to look like little birds eggs on top!)
  5. Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes. They will look very soft and under baked in the center. Remove from the oven, and move to a cooling rack.


* As stated before, I made a few different sizes. You can make monster cookies with larger dough balls, but hey will take more like ~15 minutes

* I used two different M&M varieties for these cookies, but feel free to use whichever you like best!
