Aurora’s Big Girl Bed
Hey everyone!! 👋🏻
Sharing a little toddler life update. As you know, we transitioned Aurora to a big girl bed a couple months ago! She’s only 18 months old, but she would never sleep in her crib, and we had reverted to sleeping on the ground in her DockATot to get her to sleep…so a big girl bed was calling!
I’ve had a lot of questions on how things are going, but she’s honestly doing so much better in a big girl bed than a crib. We co-slept for months, so I still end up in here a few times a night to get her back to sleep…but we’re not planning on doing any sleep training. She’s only this little once, and one day I’ll be begging for her to snuggle with me! 😭
So let’s talk bedding! I searched high and low to find the right look for her room. I’m so glad to finally have some proper bedding on her bed now! Thanks to Beddy’s Beds, she has a bed that is super easy and quick to make.
What is it?
So what are Beddy’s Beds ? Think of them like a comforter/fitted bed sheet with zippers on both side for easy bed-making AND a super soft minky on the inside for comfort. It’s incredibly comfortable 🙌🏻
I have fallen asleep in her room more nights than planned lately because of how soft and cozy I am! Here’s a little diagram to explain:
That smile says it all! (I had to add that last picture even though it was blurry 😍)
I would highly recommend these bed sets to anyone with kids! Not only does it make it easier to make the bed, but it also helps children in teaching them how to make their own bed. They have plenty of other styles too, so go check them out!

Assorted pillows are from Hobby Lobby & Target. I can’t seem to find all the links though! If you have any questions on anything, please let me know 🙂
