A Letter to my Former Pregnant Self

A Letter to my Former Pregnant Self:

Get off the floor. Stop shaking. Splash some water on your face. You’ll be okay, and so will she…

YES, it’s a girl. Your daughter. 💞

Her name is Aurora, and her smile lights up your entire world. She is perfect. I know you don’t understand how she is going to change your life, but you don’t need to worry. Please remember:

  1. It’s okay to not understand your feelings about your pregnancy. You can be confused and still love your baby. Cry, laugh, be excited, stress out. IT’S OKAY.

  2. Your life will change, but not overnight. You have time. Even after the baby comes. You have time.

  3. Yourself as a parent is still YOU. You don’t magically become a different person when you’re a mom. You may change, but you’re still you…just in awesome Mom form!

  4. Don’t worry about your postpartum body AT ALL. Seriously. Just don’t even.

  5. Yes, the heartburn goes away.

Get ready for the best year of your life.

XO- Elizabeth
