I’m now 6 weeks postpartum and I’ve learned a little bit on how to stay sane during those first few recovery weeks. I’ve narrowed it down to 10 essential items and linked all my favorite products below! 🙂 I’m not going to go into much detail because if you’re currently pregnant (and anything like me) you’ve probably read a million of these “essentials” lists. I also kept a basket by my bed with a lot of these products on hand to make it easier on myself…I would strongly recommend it!
I started wearing this girdle about 10 days after giving birth. I normally wear a small or medium in clothes but I was sized as a large for this girdle. I will warn you…when I tried to put this on immediately after giving birth, I cried. It seemed like I would never fit in it! I had to let my stomach shrink down a bit, but once I did the girdle was one of my favorite products. I wore it during the day around the house and it just made me feel more like myself. It also made me feel more put together under my clothes when we had visitors or left the house. Now that I’ve been wearing it for about a month, I can fit in the second set of clasps that are even tighter. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my stomach and how I hold myself…I will definitely be using these for future pregnancies!
